Today is the 30th of Dec 05. I was tidying up the wardrobes as I came across one of the baby's hairband. Out of interest, I placed it upon Jovin's little head. Oh soooo cute! I just can't help taking more shots of her with the hairband. See how much she's enjoying. U know it from the way she's drooling....

Jovin was amused as I was playing and talking to her. She responded so much by producing those 'yi ah' sounds. So touched when I felt she knows me and responds to my calling. Looking at her loveable look and her growing by the day really makes me forget all my worries.
This was one of the shots taken in the car when James was driving. Look at her laugh! She must be so amused as I was playing the rattle with her at that time.

It's 28 Dec 05. Today James was on half day off. I dressed up Jovin & took a cab to his office. Jovin was so welcomed by his colleagues. Too bad, she was sleeping so soundly. Hence, they didn't get a chance to play with her. We then proceed to Orchard. Hehe, thinking it was a weekday afternoon. So we 'plucked' up the courage and brought her there. Em, there's crowd but still manageable. We went to Tangs. But guess where we had to go straight? The baby changing room! Cos she 'deposited gold' once she reached there. James & I hurriedly changed her diapers & she peeed at the same time! Oh my god. It was really like fighting war as we changed her cos her legs kept kicking & struggling. But all was well and settled after we gave her milk. She slept after her milk feed & we shopped for bag. I'm so happy cos I managed to get one that looks more stylish enough to be a diaper bag. Hehe.. I'm a trendy mum, how to carry those traditional bag when we go shopping? We proceeded to Robinsons where they were having sales & I must say, she attracted attention all the way with her 'killer' loveable chubby look. Our last stop was Heeren & this was where we took the shots. I hereby conclude: Jovin's first trip to town was successful! 3 cheers!

We brought Jovin to Junction 8 on Christmas Day & she had great fun as we took photos with her & Strawberry Shortcake. See the loveable smile on her. But it's a real challenge to get her face the camera cos she tends to look at us. Well, too attached to parents.....Merry Christmas, Jovin!

In the past, both of us always spend our christmas eve with our long-time JC pals in town. But, this year, this little addition makes it impossible for us to hang out there due to the overwhelming crowd. To our surprise, our pals don't mind coming to our place for potluck instead. This xmas eve, we first brought Jovin to Causeway Point & met up with Junwei & Tingting to buy the food which we need for tonite. Jovin was so tired that she slept throught the whole shopping trip but that makes our buying easier :) Zhenni & her hubby came later. Wow, can't resist her chicken wings. It's splendid. Too bad our girl couldn't savour any of these food. Her christmas dinner is 175ml of milk & that makes her happy! We were able to enjoy our dinner in peace as Jovin entertained herself in the play gym.Oh, so cooperative!
We played poker cards after dinner & exchanged presents as usual. It was such a happy nite & the 2 other couples were happily playing with her. We've made a date looking forward to CNY when we will dress up our princess & bring her for visiting. It was such a memorable Christmas eve.
Apart from our Fisher Price christmas present for our dear girl, Jovin got another present from Uncle Junwei & Auntie Tingting! Haha, she was gazing at them when we took this photo. Doesn't she look adorable with the present beside her? Oh yes, the current Osh Kosh Baby suit she's wearing was one of the items we brought back from our Mar honeymoon in US. Hehe, I already knew I was around 2 months pregnant at that time. That's why we had the foresight to buy these baby suits. Aiya, could have bought more. Never mind, ask James to sponsor & we fly there to buy in bulk again. Aren't I wicked? Haha....
Wonderful! This is our FIRST christmas with little Jovin. She's 56 days old, turning 2 mths old real soon! This is one of the shots taken at our place with the christmas tree decorated by James & myself. Next year, I'm sure Jovin can chip in & share in the enjoyment of christmas decoration!

Guess where i am? You would never imagine I am here in the parents' room at Causeway Point feeding my little princess. My dear Ling has gone shopping instead! Sigh.. Roles of parents have changed nowadays. Never mind, I enjoy doing this & should give my wife some time off after seeing her in labour pain. Today is the 11th Dec 05 & it's the first time our House of 'Js' went out together. Worth remembering!
With Jovin around, the first concern which come to our minds when we are out shopping would be the availability of parents' room. I must say, Causeway Point is one of the top ten on our charts to date. Must go round exploring other shopping centres... Em, how about Orchard? It would be a real challenge to bring her there with the crowd around. Well, see when we are ready...
Sis took a picture of our House of 'Js' when Daddy James was feeding baby with her precious milk. It was no easy feat feeding her in the buzzling restaurant. She was bundled up in layers of blanket as the air con was rather strong & we had to coax & burp her. That's why I left this prestigious task to my beloved hubby who joined us later at the restaurant after his work. Hehe, aren't I smart?
The blissful Ah gong & Ah ma carrying their 4th grandchid sweetly in the arms. Doesn't Jovin looks like a little chef with her cap? Hehe..
Em, this is 9th of Dec 05. This is the first time Jovin sleeps in a pram & we brought her to Junction 8 to celebrate my mum & Crystal's birthdays. She was dressed to the nines & seemed so cheerful, lurking around the place with her pair of tiny eyes. We went to Ding Tai Feng restaurant. Poor girl, everyone else ate the famous xiao long bao except for her, drinking her soul food source, milk. But she's happy as it is. Girl girl, don't worry, Daddy & Mummy will introduce you to lots of yummy food in due course. Wait patiently :)
Jovin finds great joy in playing with her favorite Elmo. Guess it's bright red & the only creature that's smaller than her. Can u imagine she's actually smaller than rest of her soft toys!Never mind, she will definitely grow fast. In fact, the first comment about this girl is always: "Oh, she looks long!" Hehe, takes after her 1.83m daddy & 1.68m mummy!
Jovin was having such a wonderful time in her play-gym. It's noticeable that her vision has improved much as we can see her trying to reach for the little animals drooping down from the gym set. Look how her eyes are gazing at the colurful playmates. She must have found it exciting to be able to see more colours now!

First time seeing her laugh till so heartily. She was so amused when I showed her her best playmate, ELMO. Oh, this expression really melts James & my hearts. Having this little bundle of joy is really wonderful. Though labour pain is agonizing & sooo unbearable, looking at her joyous expression really tells me all is worth it!Oh, the power of mother love!
This was the first time Jovin produced such a loud burp after her milk feed. See the satisfied look on her face...
Babies are just sooooo...cute. They look even so loveable when they are asleep. Unlike us, adults. These photos were taken during one of her beauty sleep sessions. Doesn't she looks different from her first day?

Our 3 musketers - Crystal, Chrus & Jerad are enjoying themselves carrying Jovin in their arms. Of course under CLOSE supervision! How time flies, we used to carry our these 3 niece & nephews since they were born. To think now they are carrying our baby...Oh, must really admit age is catching up with us!

This is the first picture of our sweetie being cuddled in our best couple friend's arms. See the way she's admiring at our Uncle Junwei & Auntie Tingting.
Pals, looking forward to yours......

Here are some of our 'killer' collections of jovin. So cute right ? Can't wait to cuddle her at all times...

What rare occasion that our little ones are together side by side. Bevan is the love product of our friends - Leslie & Baoping.
Baoping & I, these 2 new mums, were so engaged in taking such precious shots of our little loved ones & promised to let them meet again during CNY. Em..What would become of them in twenty years time ? Interesting ....

He He ... who does she resemble ? Daddy or Mummy ? Personally, I think resemble daddy would be a better choice.

One Month Old

Bottle Feeding ....

Well, this is my Erm ... first milk feeding session for jovin if I'm not wrong. Take a closer look at my "seh" face and most likely you can guess at what time I'm feeding her. I can't even remember the time but for sure is one of the wee hours in the morning.

Oh what a great father am I.

The Arrival .....

Hehe .... My little jovin reporting to this world at about 6 a.m on 30th Oct 2005. Now lay cuddled in her first baby cot at Thomson Medical Centre.

So small and cute ..tsk ...tsk ..

The Battle Begins ......

Here we are in the observation ward. Probably about 4 a.m. The final battle draws near....
The contractions had probably knocked my dear into 'concussed' state. The laughing gas seems to work little for my poor wify.
