This September holiday was not a break at least for me. I was tied down with the massive shifts from warehouse, furniture deliveries and staged shifts from mum's place. Then, gotta juggle with last minute calls from furniture company that there's problem with the original stock we've placed order since Jun. Dear and I had to rush down all the way to their shop far in the east just to get things settled. Next, something went wrong with the sofa order as it was not customised to our intended prints and colour. So till now, still waiting for the new set to be replaced while the wrong set still sits in our new abode.
There's so much more to juggle and I still had to sacrifice hours of beauty sleep to set 2 exam papers which were due once school reopened. I recalled I actually had to sleep at 4a.m almost everyday throughout the week as there's so much cleaing up and misc issues to handle in the day. So gotta force myself to finish the paper setting in the wee hours when all my beloved are sleeping sweetly...
Now finally we have officially shifted in since yesterday as we rolled pineapples into the new apartment, symbolling signs of family blissfulness and prosperity.
We changed the bed sheets, cleaned up the house once again. Finally, we have moved into our 'J's apartment after a year of 'homeless' identity. Haha.....
There's still some minor touch-ups going on, but almost 90% is fixed. Looking very much forward to the cosy life ahead.... Some almost done room furnishings for your viewing pleasure :)
