Jovan's 1st Kick!

Dear and I have been doing much research and gathering feedback from friends on the enrichment classes for Jovan. We have signed him up for art and wushu trial classes previously but he expressed nil interest in those activities. For now, he's only attending Chinese speech and drama class which he enjoys. Wanted to sign him up for junior abacus class specially for aged 4-5 but the timing clashes with his Chinese class, so we had to give it a miss. Finally, we decided to opt for this........ SOCCER!


After some research, I decided to enrol Jovan for the free trial class with First Kick Academy. What's more, it's at Bishan! Jovan rose up bright and early, all geared up for his junior soccer class. We were surprised to see so many kiddies like him. However, most of the most junior ones like him were away for overseas trips, so the coach arranged for him to join the older group aged 6-9 instead.



Intially Jovan was rather apprehensive as usual. However, he slowly warmed up and joined in the kicks and running eventually. There was a 1-1 training for him exclusively hehe considering his age. Dear and I could see the bright smiles on our dear prince's face as he ran across the field.



However, weather was not in our favour. The sky was soon overcast with dark clouds, so the session had to be cancelled. The coach suggested us bringing Jovan back after our Taiwan trip when all the other junior players should return then and it would be a better gauge to decide if we wanted to enrol him in the full term course. Rather reasonable hmmm... However, judging by Jovan's facial expression, we could see that he loves the sports and most probably, we would go for it...
 
Haha maybe Jovan is our future soccer star. Go go Jovan!
