Alas, weather was not so favourable that evening. We reached there around 5.30p.m, attracted by the various food and game stalls instead. Skies were overcast with dark clouds. Soon it started to drizzle, so we merely sought shelter in one of the many activity stalls and didn't pay much attention to the grand stage.
We were so busy trying out food samples, capturing instant shots, playing games and winning prizes. We thought the walk was postponed till around 6.30p.m when brother told us someone announced the walk had actually begun with all participants dressed in ponchos. What a joke! To think 7 of us still fussed ourselves over the photo capturing and most importantly eating haha....
Nonetheless, we did not want the kids to get drenched too, so thought we would have given it a miss regardless of whether we heard the announcement. We had fun though making funny poses, joining in the horrendous long queue to play some silly games but we won some prizes though!
After which, we continued Part 2-dinner time, playtime at playground and we ended it off with great dessert time at Macdonalds! An enjoyable weekend evening spent indeed with my brother's family. Notwithstanding, it was indeed a great pity we couldn't make it for the actual walk. Hoping for the next year round :)
