All About Theme Park Fun Part 2 - Universal Studios Singapore

During the Sep holidays, apart from Legoland fun, we had another round of ultimate fun at USS. Initially only planned for the four of us, however upon hearing we were going, brother decided to join us and I must say, we really didn't regret it.....

Early on a Thursday morning, we took MRT all the way to Harbour Front and met brother at Vivo for Macdonalds breakfast before we proceeded for fun. Despite weekeday, USS was bustling with lots of people too but mostly tourists. It was my 3rd visit but it was the the kids' 1st visit! So they were full of anticipation and excitement the moment w stepped into it.

The park was not as huge as Legoland, but there were so many thrilling rides too. There's Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Magadascar etc. Each of the lands had unique rides of its own. Among which, we queued the longest time for Transformers ride, almost 45 mins for the 1st round. We were greeted by Optimus Prime and Autobots as we felt as though we transformed into figthers in the ultimate 3D battle. The 3 kids screamed and went wild as the 'battle' was ongoing. We the adults enjoued the ride tremendously too!

Other rides included Madagascar boat ride, junior coaster ride, Mummy's Ride and the Seasame Street Spaghetti Space Chase whch we took over 10 times! Yes it's really 10 times! The kids were bedazzled by the colourful lightings in the space chase but to us, we enjoyed the air con haha... It was a great place to shun away from the dazzling sun rays....

Another great place which attracted all of us was the 4d Shrek Adventure. Our seats vibrated strongly as the horses 'galloped', our faces were 'splashed' with water, there was a strong gust of wind too.... We were totally immersed in the story plot.....

However, we were very much disappointed by the food there. We were famished so we decided to settle for a food court which we happened to be nearby. Each chicken rice set cost over 10 bucks, but the taste was not up to expectation. Only the dessert was passable though. Nevertheless, we still managed to satisfy our hunger and continued fun at the park on other rides like Canopy Flyer and Water World.

Apart from rides, we managed to steal shots everytime we caught sight of the characters like Elmo, Big Bird, Bumble Bee etc. It had been real long since we had so much fun doing funny poses and playing wild together especially with my brother haha....

I really enjoyed the theme park fun during this Sep holidays. However, now very much looking forward to my upcoming fun in Dec - gals' trip to Bangkok with my khakis, KL trip with my extended family... Year end holidays, earnestly counting down....
