Chubby Jovan!

Hehe, started to put on some new clothes for Jovan. this is one of the FOX baby rompers I've gotten for him before birth. Doesn't he looks chubbier compared to his newborn days? BTW, he's now 4 kg! Can't help but keeps taking different poses of him. Have taken 150 photos for the past 4 weeks. Will do up and decorate the photos for him similar to what I've been doing for Jovin. Hehe, more fashion parade expected on the way with the new clothes he has received. Stay tuned.....

Jovan turns 1 month old!

Jovan finally turns 1 month old and the greatest relief is I've regained my 'freedom' after the 1 month confinement hehe.... We had 2 parts to mark our prince's big day. Part 1 - We ordered cake packages and delivered to our colleagues and relatives on Fri 28 Mar 08. James and I went to Hougang to collect the cakes and we were very pleased with the overall package and most importantly, our colleagues gave us very positive feedback especially on the baby's card. Many commented he's little James. Erm, can't really tell, we shall see down the road. Mummy thinks he will be more handsome than daddy haha! On Sat 29 Mar 08, we had a buffet celebration for Jovan at our place and we invited our relatives and close friends. It was a big crowd but manageable as we split them into 2 sessions. All commented on Jovan's sharp features and the typical boyish look. Erm, wonder if he would grow up to be a lady killer next time? Haha... It was a good mingling session for all though our star was happily enjoying his beauty sleep during the first part of the celebration. He woke up around 3+p.m for his milk feed and mingled with the uncles and aunties. Our precious princess Jovin happily enjoyed the party with all her playmates and helped mummy in unwrapping all didi's presents as though it was her birthday celebration hehe. Our playroom was highly utilised that day as most of our friends's babies and toddlers had much fun with the ball playpool and the toys.




Most of the guests left around 5p.m with our best couple friends, Junwei and Tingting who stayed behind till 9p.m for our exclusive couple bonding session. The 2 hubbies went to nearby coffee shop and bought some snacks and we tried to finish the remaining of the buffet spread. Our dear Jovin and Jovan were happily sleeping in the room then while we enjoyed some moments of peacefulness. James and I were dead exhausted at the end of everything. Really thks to our dearest friends who bought so much for Jovan. Look at the no. of clothes Jovan got! We were really in for a shock!But the clothes are sooo cute! Guess I need not buy clothes for Jovan for quite sometime as I've alreay gotten many passed down clothes from my siblings as well.

4 weeks just passed in a flash. Jovan is now officially one month old. Though it's really tiring to take care of newborns, nevertheless, everything is worthwhile once I look at the growing chubbiness on his cheeks. My greatest wish is for Jovin and Jovan to stay healthy and happy always. My dearest Leling and Lewen :)

Many tell me the photographs of the 2nd one will definitely be much lesser than the elder one. Well, I beg to differ. Mummy Jacqueline loves to take different shots and poses of my kids.....I will consistently do up nice photo albums for Jovan as well....

Sibling Love or Rivalry?

From the first day I knew about my second pregnancy, the major concern was sibling rivalry. Jovin has been rather attached to me since birth and I really don't know if I am able to divide my love equally between the 2 kids.The only thing I could do then was to read up more articles and magazines on this. Now, with the arrival of Jovan, I have to face this in reality. So far, I would say, things have been going on very smoothly. Except for the first 2 days when Jovin displayed jealousy when she saw me carrying Jovan, she started to display affection and tender loving care towards her brother. Every morning, she would wave goodbye to Jovan before she leaves for school and gives didi a goodnite kiss and cuddle before she goes to bed. She's very protective of Jovan too and doesn't complain when Jovan 'treats' her to his smelly mittens, hehe... Whenever she sees Jovan sleeping, she will even tell mummy and daddy to whisper so as not to disturb didi. Oh my, I really feel it's so sweet of my dearest Jovin. What's more, as I learn to manage the 2 kids, I feel that it's really not easy to show undivided love. I will definitely try my utmost in giving my 2 kids the best and most importantly, I really love both of them from the bottom of my heart. My 2 little 'Js' - The angels in my life.......
