Granny's 80th Birthday!

It was James's granny's 80th birthday feast last night. The function was held at Yishun Safra. Intially, we thought it was merely a simple dinner get-together. Alas, to our surprise, there was a professional emcee and there was even a montage! I really felt as though we were attending a wedding dinner. However, granny must have felt so blessed last nite with all her beloved descendants celebrating this great milestone of hers. There were confetti, balloons, games & not forgetting KTV. Jovin was sound asleep in the beginning amd everyone was so astonished she wasn't awaken by the confetti, birthday song etc. She woke up in the middle of the feast and began on her mischievious acts as usual. She ran up to the stage and played with rest of the kids while James & I were sabooed on stage to sing a duet, hehe. My mother-in-law was full of smiles too as she was happily carrying Jovin around and chatting with rest of the relatives. It was such a joyous ocassion and all ended around 10.40p.m. Really envy James's grandmother who has such a blessed life till today with all the grand and great grand children. I think it would be a rare ocassion down the next 10-20 years as most of us are small families with only at most 3 kids. Who would have 13 kids, marry at 18 years old like James's granny? For me, really don't dare to think so far ahead. My greatest wish now is to see Jovin growing happily and healthily and the House of 'Js' remain as blissful as ever :)
