Last nite, we had a great family birthday celebration for my nephew, Chrus's 8th year old Birthday! It was a small homely celebration at my sis's place. My brother-in-law whipped up his homecooked stingray curry and mum chipped in with her fried bee hoon. Sis bought rest of the food like satay, chicken wings, otah etc. It was a simply lavish spread. Chrus invited some of his neighbours and the kids really enjoyed themselves to the fullest. Jovin was the youngest. Though she didn't have similar age group friends but she entertained herself by helping herself with the party snacks, garlic bread and goodie bag toys. The kids went downstairs near the swimming pool for their water bomb game too and it's time for James & me to take a breather as my dad volunteered to look after her hehe. The cake was the mango mirror cake from bengawan solo as requested by the birthday boy and he was so satisfied with the presents. We gave him a motor boat LEGO set and he couldn't wait to set his hands on it. Chrus has been a very loveable boy since young. Time really flies and I still remember always pinching his chubby cheeks when he was a baby. To think now he's already 8, a handsome and smart-looking chap. Jovin happily had her fair share of cake eating too and ate a bit of cheese rings before we left home around 10.30p.m. We were dead tired then and she couldn't fight the zzzz. monster for long after we reached home.
