Fun At Vivo!

Today was my department's family day held at Vivo City. It has been a really AGES since we last visited the mall. We reached there around 9.30a.m and helped ourselves to the buffet spread. Jovin was very friendly and sociable as usual and entertained hugs and enjoyed being cuddled by my colleagues. James mingled around with my colleagues and many commented Jovin looked exactly like me, almost my duplicate. Haha! We had fun taking photos and Jovin played with the kids and babies of my colleagues too. Around 11p.m, we left when my colleagues went for the 'Bee' movie. Well, we opted for arcade games knowing Jovin is still too young to sit through the whole movie. In exchange, we got $36 worth of tokens to be squandered!

We first brought Jovin to the nearby water pool and she loved playing having her little feet in the water. She had fun kicking her feet and splashing the water. Later on, we brought her to the playground and the nearby playcourt where there's waterfall and she got herself soaked through completely! She was giving herself a shower and enjoyed the feeling of water splashing upon her. Our dear princess had so much fun with the water that James and I almost gave up. The photos should be able to tell you how elated she was playing with the water. We gave her a fresh change of clothes, went to Toastbox for some bread and proceeded to E-ZONE for the arcade games, The arcade was miserably small to our disappointment. We tried very hard to spend the tokens intially, hehe cos not many games were suitable for our girl. Tried our hands on the UFO cathcher, thinking we may be in for some luck to get a soft toy for her but failed after 3 attempts. Finally, we set our mind upon a Jurassic game with ultra-big screen, focused on shooting the creatures like worms, spiders etc. and Jovin enjoyed that! (She merely helped us to refill the tokes into the slot and was an obedient audience while we played hehe..)

After completing our mission at the arcade, it was almost one and we settled for a simple lunch at the putien restaurant. By then, Joivn was so exhausted that she almost fell asleep while sitting down. But she energised again when we took the opportunity to window shop. There were really many interesting shops but perhaps we were really exhausted, so we decided to head for home around 3. Joivn and I immediately 'concussed' in the car while our poor daddy James still had to drive us back. Guess what? we reached home around 3.30p.m and by 4, the House of 'Js' landed up in our cosy bad for a great nap till 7p.m!

It was nonetheless a great weekend spent. With my advancing condition, not many opportunities to shop like today. Looking forward to more interesting family weekend programs before our little boy joins us.......
