An Extraordinary F1 Night With Hello Kitty!

While the F1 fever was on last Sunday, House of 'Js' decided to opt out from the crowd fever and instead we went to Chinese Garden as it was the last day before the Hello Kitty displays are demolished for the mid-Autumn festival. I prepared dinner earlier around 6p.m and after all the washing up, we left around 7.15p.m and reached there around 8p.m. There was still some crowd though not overwhelming though due to F1 race and was already way past mid-Autumn festival. The weather was great and breezy. Jovan was in the pram whereas Jovin ran around freely in the garden, posing for almost all the figurines she saw i.e Hello Kitty, Melody, Daniel etc. She kept pestering us to capture her with all the displays. We never expected our dearest princess loves taking photos so much to this extent. I think we did not miss out any of the displays! We passed by the car rides and Jovin pestered us for the rides. Well for 3 bucks, mummy decided to let her have a go at it as long as my girl is happy though James said it was a waste of money but she really enjoyed it and kept waving to us as the car went.

We walked in the garden and saw many beautiful displays especially thosse Hello Kitty boats in the river. The view was spectacular and beautiful! We took many lovely shots and Jovan captured the attention of many passer-bys as usual with his killer chubbiness, hehe. Time passed by so quickly that we didn't realise we left at 10.30p.m! It was a fruitful and worthwhile walk especially the tix were at 50% off as it was the final night. Though we missed the F1 show telecast, we didn't regret as we believed our kids loved the Helo Kittys more than the F1. Kids's enjoyment come first. As long as they are happy, we feel blessed too :)
