A Date with the Dragonball!

Yup, don't doubt your eyesight. It's perfect! I actually agreed to watch Dragonball movie with hubby and we materialised our couple date last night. Though it was only a few hours, it was considered a true break for us cos there's only 2 of us. We could find seats in restaurants easily, didn't have to viw with others waiting for lifts due to prams, have a peaceful dinner without having battling with our 2 'Js'. The experience was just so different!
We had to sneak out when my niece Crystal 'lured' her into the room entertaining her and we took our escape, though feel bad but daddy and mummy neeeded some private moments. Jovan still didn't really understand so we could still wave goodbye to him hehe. We reached AMK Hub around 8.30pm and dear suggested going New York New York for dinner so we could endeavour our beloved pumpkin soup. We ordered Teriyaki chicken chop, coleslaw, rootbear float and ribs. It was really so appetizing and filling meal. Never felt as full. Haha because of dear, I broke my diet commandment by taking so much carbo late at night but never mind lah once in a while.
We happened to meet our long-time JC pal Weifeng and his family. They were so envious we could sneak out for a romantic date. Well, really gotta thks for the great family support we have from both sides else we would not be able to cope and enjoy the luxury of couple date :)
The sweetest thing I heard from Dear last nite was, he said his colleagues were suprised that he would watch Dragonball and his answer was ' Movie is of secondary importance, nothing beats the companion I'm having tonight.' Wow, Bingo, after so many years, dear still can sweet-talk in such a manner, really warms my heart hehe.We chatted over the kids, our impending KL/Genting trip with the kids on my birthday etc. By the time our dinner ended, it was almost 10p.m but we still had about an hour before our movie. Shops were all closed, so went to arcade, strolled along those education centres at level 3, checking out enrichment lessons for Jovin and we finally ended up in ToastBox for his favourite Ah pek coffee.
The movie soon started and the theatre was almost full. We were just like a young courting couple once again enjoying the movie. The content was rather hilarious and Chow XX really made me laugh with his comical act in the scene. Dear explained to me certain scenes and told me this is actually a small part of the entire Dragonball series and it can really go on and on till Dragonball's next generation! As a first timer to such shows, I would say it's watchable and of course, companionship is important, as quoted by my dear.
It was a great romantic movie date with hubby and we definitely look forward to more of such dates cos we still need to ignite the passion and romance in our marriage :)
