Last Sun, we went to my uncle's place for Lantern Festival gathering. When we reached there, Jovan was intially frustrated and very agitated, thus kept clinging onto mum and myself. Jovin aroused the attention of many uncles and aunties when we reached with her glamorous hair accessory. She was so bashful when the guests complimented her being a pretty girl and she secretly whispered into my ears
'' Mummy, everyone said I look pretty leh'' Haha, that's my girl :)
Jovin and Jovan soon got themselves familarised with the environment and I'm glad Jovin was very obedient. One of my aunties offered her ice-cream but Jovin dragged her to seek permission from me before she dared to eat. So as usual, my concensus with her was 3 mouthfuls of ice-cream and she really abide by the rules. My auntie was so impressed Jovin could be so disciplined in terms of this as most children can't resist the sweet temptation.
The highlight of the night was KTV singing. My uncle loves singing, so he has a very comprehensive KTV singing system at home. Jovin and Jovan was very excited at their first attempt in singing. We managed to choose children's songs like Happy Bithday and niwawa . Jovan also held tigtly to the microphone and was humming 'ah ah ah ' throughout the songs. All the guests were very amused by our 2 little 'J's. James and I had our fair share of singing too and my dad was so 'high' and he sang a series of oldies till mum complained about his thunderous voice haha....
Our little 'J's really loved the KTV singing session. Hmm, guess this got to do with genes? Perhaps can impart some of my singing skills to my little ones hehe... It was a fun night full of laughter and joy. Jovin looks forward dearly to her next round of KTV singing :)
