Yesterday, we attended our best couple pal's little darling prince Kaden's 1 year old birthday party. It was held at a restaurant in Punggol park. We reached there pretty late but still managed to make it in time for the cake-cutting celebration though. Little Kaden was decked in his best Polo Ralph bought by his dear daddy long before he was born. Kaden portrayed a mischevious yet adorable look. Mummy Tingting, as usual did up nice photos for her precious darling. which was rather similar to the poster we did for Jovan's 1 year old bash too.
The crowd was manageable, compared to their last guest list during full month celebration. There were personalised door gifts which thrilled the kids especially. Jovan enjoyed the muffins and ate 2! Jovin was just like a butterfly, flying here and there in her favourite disney princess outfit and she felt at ease as she was familiar with some of our JC friends and of course, not forgetting our couple pals.
It was a pity most of our JC mates couldn't make it as many went overseas due to the long weekend. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed meeting up with Baoling and Jianping who's anxiously waiting to be promoted real soon too in early Sep. Looks like our next gathering would be his boy's full month celebration!We had a great chat with Junwei and Tingting's parents too as they know us very well too.
Soon, it was time for cake-cutting session and the cake was so beautiful. It was similary ordered from Pine Garden and still tasted as delicious. Kaden looked very lost during the birthday song but he was very cooperative though and did not throw any tantrums. Our pals were so happy. A blissful family indeed and we are very happy for them.
Jovin enjoyed 2 slices of cake but we didn't give Jovan any as he has just recovered from his fever and we only alowed him to take the plain muffins instead without the cream filling.
We left around 3p.m and of course, the 2 hubbies said they would arrange for another link-up soon. These 2.... Sigh! Tingting and I were joking the other day our gathering would increase in strength down the years. We look forward to the days when we bring all the kids to the movies haha. Of course, looking forward to Kaden having another sibling soon :)
