On Fri evening, we had a simple yet heart-warming birthday celebration for my dad whose birthday falls on 8 Aug!Every year without fail, we make it a point to celebrate all family members' birthdays. This year, we chose Soup Restaurant @ AMK Hub for the birthday dinner. Luckily,we made the reservation in advance as the queue was so long when we reached. We loved the food and enjoyed their samsui ginger chicken the best and we even ordered 2 large servings!
Our parents were very happy that evening and the kids were cooperative that night as we took photos throughout the dinner. The only problem was that Jovan refused to sit on the high chair. Finally we managed to settle him as he stood in a corner playing dear's I-phone haha!
We managed to take many shots that night and finally got a good family shot with Jovan looking at the camera!
Our dinner comprised almost all their signature dishes and the management was very pro-active in helping us with the cake-cutting. We ordered coco exotic cake from 4-leaves and all loved it. We wiped out the 1 kg pretty fast!
All of us sang birthday song for ah-gong and the waitress even offered to take a group photo for us. It was a wonderful night spent. That's my family, we just love to gather cos there's always good food hehe.
