Family Outing at Marina Square!

It's Sun 26th of Feb. We decided to go Marina Square as it has been donkey months since we last went there. I remembered our last visit was during my 4th mth pregnancy where many shops were still under revamp/renovation due to the extension project. Today, our eyes were really in for a feast as we saw so many changes in the shopping mall. We even LOST OUR WAY! Can u believe it? We were not familiar with the new shop locations, structure etc & ended up in many merry go rounds. Luckily we could still locate our car in the car park. I was so happy as we bought many things & it was very fruitful. One of my best buys was the newly launched Stained Art Mickey Mouse Jigsaw Puzzle. The display was so attractive that James & I were enticed into buying it. The jigsaw will give out light on its own & does not require any glue upon completion for it to stay intact. Most importantly, it looks great in the bulit-to-order frame. We've decided to place it beside our bed. Well, we'll show u the completed puzzle once we are done! On top of that, we bought items from FOX BABY, LEE HWA, BIFC Boutique etc..... Never had this feeling for long.. Thks to James -my ATM machine. Hehe......

Car-Ride Bouncer!

Our dearest Little Jovin is progressing well by the days. She's so fond of holding her head up nowadays & is finally able to do a flip turn all by herself very easily! We have so much fun playing with her nowadays & she's really amused us with her actions, flipping, or even her drooling acts. We've put her on the car-ride bouncer today & surprisingly, that is able to catch her attention span for quite sometime . She looks so steady & comfortable in the bouncer with the rattles & toys placed in front of her. Thank god, we've now found another avenue to soothe her. It's relaxing for us to place her on the bouncer while we do our own stuff. But we shall see how long her interest in this can stay........Babies are just so fond of discarding old stuff & explore new things :)

Of late, Jovin has been trying very hard to flip her body. In fact, there were times when she could almost do it. But she often feels so exasperated & keep crying when she fails to do so. Now she could hold her head real steady & high & is now advancing to the flipping stage which is really worrying. I wonder how it is going to be when she starts learning to crawl etc. We are thinking of installing bed rails & trying hard to make our place as child-proof as possible. Parents are really so sacrificial nowadays. Whatever we do & spend, it's all on the kids. Well, but this is definitely a worthwhile lifetime investment for both James & myself.

It's Valentine's Day!

It's Valentine's Day! Well, we didnt want to celebrate actually but couldn't tahan when we saw so many valentine's marketing gimmicks & lovey dovey couples all around. Well, actually I was already in for a great treat on Sun when hubby James specially cooked dinner for me. Ohhhh, I'm really very touched... He actually secretly learnt cooking tips from his mum & prepared my favorite pacific clams stewed chicken as well as prawn omelette. Never thought that he could do so well. Look at the dishes & bouquet. This was really a well spent Valentine's Day for me. Today being the actual day, we had a simple dinner at Cafe Cartel & played with Jovin when we reached home. She seemed to be unusually active & laughing so much. Guess she knows it's a special day too. Else, she would have slept by now during normal days. I hope all our friends will enjoy a great Valentine's Day with their beloved ones. Happy Valentine's Day, my most precious 2 'J's!

It's the eve before CNY officially ends. To think we are still bringing mandarin oranges to our friends' place today. Well, all of us were too busy during weekdays so had to meet during this weekend. We went to the newly wedded couple, Vivian & Jianhui's love shelter at Lakeside. But this area is really too 'ulu' for both of us that we lost our way in Jurong vicinity. In the end, We had to SOS Jianhui for directions through handphone before we can finally make our way there. It's a pity I couldn't meet 2 of my pregnant pals (hehe cos we were terribly late!) but looking at their preggy looks from fotos, really reminds me of the days when I'm pregnant. See the way Vivi carry Jovin. So pro huh....Em...looks like she will be inspired to start a family soon. Work hard, pal & join the mummy's club soon!
