We did something meaningful today! I always wanted to be fair to both my Js. Jovin had her studio photos taken when she was 5 months old and 1 year old respectively. Hence, I've arranged for a session for Jovan as well. We decided to try our luck at a new studio this round as we were not very pleased with the studio that took for Jovin last round. The studio is very conveniently located at Bishan. However, the session of 1 hr was really tedious to us and the photographer and his assistant. He was a real nice chap. Both the photographer and his assistant were trying their very nest to amuse Jovan. We tried tickling, using rattles etc. REALLY SHAGGED! The photographer was really quick in his actions in capturing Jovan's smile. He was bending, lying down etc. in all sorts of poses to accomodate our little prince. On the other hand, when we had settled Jovan down with his cries and tantrums, there's problems with our little princess again. She just refused to smile and cooperate. Slowly warmed up only when the photographer threw soccer ball at her and he managed to capture some of his precious smiles. Really had a hard time entertaining the 2. Had a lot of NG shots taken but really amusing as we looked at the shots. Not easy to take family shots. However, still managed to take around 150 shots! Our dear boy was really concussed towards the end and he fell asleep after his turn haha. He enjoyed the nap happily on the sofa couch but we were rather satisfied with the turnout and most importantly, really captured the bubbly expressions of my Jovan. To me, taking such shots are well worth it as the chubbiness is usually within this time frame. Once they learn to crawl, walk etc. the chubbimess will slowly wear off. So wanted to capture these memorable chubby moments of my little boy. Will definitely arrange for another shoot when Jovan turns one. Hopefully we can get a better family shoot then :)

A Date With The Hulk!
Last night, Dear and me FINALLY made it for our date with the Incredible Hulk. Last Fri, we were all ready to go for the show. We had even bought midnight tix for the show. However, our little Jovan was seriously ill. His cough developed into bronchitis and both James and I were really very worried for him. Since last Wed, he was down with slight cough and running nose ( all thks to his lovely jiejie who passed the virus to him). However, his condition worsened then, kept having terrible coughs, milk intake dropped leading to a drop in his weight. I was really so troubled and worried then over last few days. So we decided to forgo the show last Fri as we really wanted to keep close tab on his condition then. This week, our Jovan has finally recovered and he's regained his bubbly rosy cheeks. He now stands at his normal weight of 7.9kg again. Yippe!
I had actually planned the programme for last night cos my dear hubby PROMISED he would knock off early. However, as usual, he had me on again. There goes my plan of dining at restaurant, shopping and followed by our movie date. We only managed to materialise the last part i.e movie date and had dinner at HAWKER CENTRE! Grrrr.... My dear hubby couldn't get off work in time as usual. So pissed off for a while before my anger subsided cos of some honeyed words and actions from him. Everytime had to surrender to him..... However, he had his fair share of punishment too as I forced him to eat nacho chips which he really hated, haha! Well, nevertheless, we had a great time at the movies watching Incredible Hulk 2. The show was rather enjoyable and we really found it relaxing since it had been a real long time we last enjoyed a movie together. Looking forward to our next movie date.

Visit To the Lim's Once Again.....

Last Sat, after our Father's Day Celebration, we went to visit our best pal, Junwei and Tingting at their place. Junwei was complaining of backache all over after his cleaning up due to the housewarming buffet he had earlier on. Haha, laughed at him for being so useless and told TT to 'tekan' him more often in future. Jovin was exceptionally quiet that night, not her usual self. Mainly due to the fact that she just woke up and also suffering from sorethroat. We strolled to the nearby kopitiam and was surprised to see the big crowd there despite the late timing of around 11p.m. Jovin has slowly 'warmed up' then and started her usual cheekiness. We had some dim sum and had a great chat. Thks to TT who took the lovely pics of our 2 'Js'. It was a great link up that Sat nite and we look forward to more of the linking sessions. Bet our hubbies can't wait to meet each other again but the 2 wives will not let them have their way haha.....

Happy Father's Day!
We had a simple Father's Day for James over the last weekend. The House of 'J's had dinner at Jack's Place restaurant on Sat. Luckily we were early before 7p.m as the place was packed with people by around 7.30p.m. Both James and I had the Father's Day special set @ $27++ each which comprised of appetizer, soup, main course (choice of salmon, steak or lobster with chicken), dessert and coffee/tea. We ordered a kids meal set for Jovin whereas Jovan was enjoying in the pram as usual. Jovin loved the sausages and sunny side up. She wanted more fries but of course, I told daddy to finish most of her portion cos fries are not so healthy after all but should let the kids indulge once in a while. We felt that the meal was rather appetizing though a bit pricey though considering the portion but it's ok though since we don't do it often. On Sun evening, we went to the nearby Sembawang Park. It was a long stroll for us and Jovin soon complained of tiredness and asked daddy to carry her. Haha considering her weight of 12.4kg now, it's not an easy feat. Mummy happily pushed Jovan in the pram. There were many people at the park too and Jovin loved the playground. James had fun running and fussing around her too. Our little princess almost went wild with the slides, see saw etc. As for Jovan, he was so comfortable with the breeze that he fell asleep haha. It was almost 7.30p.m as we strolled our way home. We had a simple dinner at the coffeeshop below our block therafter.
It's the 3rd Father's Day for James this year. However, it's the first year he's experiencing the feeling as a proud father of 2 kids. Erm, does he qualify as a good daddy in my eyes? DEFINITELY NEEDLESS TO SAY!!! Though James is real busy at work and does loses his temper with the kids at times, I know he's really trying hard too to mingle and bond with our 2 'Js', knowing he always don't have much time for the kids considering his busy work schedule. He always tells me he really needs to put in lots of effort to garner the kids towards him. Haha... I think u need to try REALLLLL hard dear. Whenever he asks Jovin who she loves, her reply will always be mummy without fail though he can be carrying her and walking so tiredly haha. James said he wants to work hard on Jovan now since he's still young. Well, try your best dear but I think it's a hard core fact that mummies are always dearer than daddies in kids's hearts. But Dear, just wanna let u know U are doing well as a father. Continue to work hard at the kids :)
