Neighbourhood Shopping!

The footsteps of festive season is getting nearer. Though we are not Christians, we would always make it a point to hold or attend X'mas parties. As usual, this year, we have 3 parties -my family, CLDDS and SMU pals. So there's so many X'mas presents which we have to buy. Considering it's a weekend today, James suggested we go neighbourhood instead as we do not really intend to buy presents today. We plan to take a day leave next week to do X'mas shopping in town. We headed for Toa Payoh Central and had a great dinner at Crystal Jade Kitchen. Though Jovin had her dinner at home, she loved the hor fun which I gave her and she was so friendly towards the staff there and kept them entertained with her laughter.

We managed to conquer some presents from Kiddy Palace for my nephews. So it wasn't a wasted trip after all. On top of that, we bought some daily necessities and some newborn casual wear and mittens booties for my upcoming little one. As we bought, really didn't realise we ended up with so many bags. Considering my humpty dumpty size now, I got easily tired too so we took a breather in between to rest my tired feet and to enjoy the lovely doughnuts we bought. We went home around 9.30p.m after having some dessert at the Hongkong tea cafe. Tomorrow it's another day for us as we would be celebrating my mum's 60th birthday. Gotta rest now. Good nite!
