Causes for Joy!
Putting work aside, I am really happy this week especially today all acredited to my 3 beloved 'Js'.
Joy No.1: Jovin
Jovin is finally fully toilet trained! Since we started her on training pants this Mar, she has successfully learnt not to wet herself at night! All these come with sheer hard work, practice and effort between Jovin and us. Besides establishing good before sleep habits like limit milk intake before sleep, ensure toilet visiting before sleep etc, we had to undergo several rounds of waking up in middle of night to clear her wet mattress, pants etc. Coupled with mini rewards when she managed to stay dry through the night, we finally succeeded in fully toilet training our princess at 3.5 years old. As a reward, I have bought tix for the Little Big Club Concert where there's Barney, Bob the Builder etc. I can save on Jovin's diapers. Hurray!
Joy No.2: Jovan
Jovan has progressed remarkably in his walking especially after our return from Genting trip. He is now walking steadier and is able to walk a much further distance! The easiest way to entice him to take more steps is to hold some food or play some musical dvds and he will walk a considerable distance unknowingly. James and I are looking forward to our dear prince walking steadily and more confidently in the next 2 weeks. All the way, dearest Jovan!
Joy No.3: Hubby
Dear told me he would be having training at HQ office Raffles Place this evening. Suggested meeting him at Raffles Place and we could have dinner together before going home. His training ended early around 7p.m and we walked along Boat Quay. It has been really ages since we last strolled here. As we were walking along the row of restaurants, so many of them were trying to poach us and we were really spoilt for choices for dinner. Finally, we settled for western cuisine at Sizzling Rock mainly because we were enticed by the 1 for 1 UOB promotion hehe. We sat by the river, had a great chat and felt as though we returned to courtship. Food was good and the tenderloin, chicken, crayfish came served on the sizzling hot rock. Dear was clumsily trying to 'cook' the tenderloin as he mixed the accompaniments onto the food. We had a great time and enjoyed the great food and peacefulness. Things really felt different without our 2 little 'Js' around. After dinner, we strolled along the river on our way to the carpark. It was an enjoyable date that we really cherish.
I consider myself a very simple woman. Just simple things above make me feel blissful and happy. To me, nothing matters more than a loving husband and witnessing the different growing stages of my 2 little loveable kids. I may not be as rich in monetary terms, but I really feel rich in having a closely knitted family. Will definitely cherish it.......
