Today, we went for another studio portriat session. It all triggered as I really wanted very much to own a coffee-table album of my kids, a mini version akin to our wedding album. To me, photos are very important and I believe in capturing the most cheerful and innocent growing up moments of my 2 little 'J's before they wear out their cuteness and chubbinesss.
The past studio photos merely included the basic packages with no photo editing and the 'raw' photos are returned to us. However, to fulfil my wish, I finally 'head-hunted' this photo studio which incorporated all that I wanted i.e 8R coffee-table album, edited photos with design layout, customised wordings, return of all edited and unedited photos etc. Dear was very cooperative and gave in to my demands hehe. He 'willingly' participated in the photo studio session and we headed for Commonwealth in the afternoon.
The kids were very hyper and energy levels were very high as they saw all the toys and the photographer, David, being a very experienced children's photographer, managed to capture all their jovial and cheeky sides. However, it was still not easy to sustain then through the 2 hours session as we needed to change them into various outfits, divert their attention etc. David was the most professional photographer among all our past studio shots we've taken. He cracked jokes with Jovin, invented little games and came up with little tricks and actions to amuse our little 'J's.
Towards the end, both seemed to show disinterest and so, David suggested taking some couple shots for James and myself. Haha, the last time we took such studio couple shots was our wedding shoot. We felt so funny and burst into laughter when David commented our poses were not loving enough, smiles were not broad etc. It was a fun experience after all and we were very satisfied even with the unedited photos. There was a total of 250 photos! Shall countdown to 3 weeks later when we will get the real stuff. Attached are some hilarious and interesting uncut NG shots. Really amusing and my favourite is the one with both of them wearing traditional outfits. Observe Jovin's posture :)
