It was a rewarding Saturday nite spent today. Finally, we have confirmed our Sunway Lagoon trip set from 18/12 - 21/12. It will be a 4D3N trip via Transtar first class coach as usual, our favourite. This time round, not only the House of 'J's would be going, my parents and siblings's families are coming along too. In all, a total of 12 of us are going for the short family vacation getaway. The kids are all very excited about the upcoming trip. For the past 2 years, we have been going on chalets but we decided to opt for somrthing different this time round. Thus, we decided to head for Sunway Lagoon. Though it will be challenging to have the 5 'monsters' around, I bet it will be full of liveliness and joyfulness too. Looking forward to the family trip :)
Reward 2: Visit To Marina Barrage
After the booking, we went for dinner at Marina Square. Dear suggested going Marina Barrage as we did not have any specific shopping agenda too. It was pretty near and this was the first visit to the Barrage. There were many people and there was ample space for the kids to roam and run around. When we reached there, it was nearing 10p.m and there was some live singing performance on the stage. The scenery was breath-taking and the breeze was so comforting. We took quite a number of shots and the night scenery of Singapore flyer was spectacular. Jovin and Jovan enjoyed running round the large green field and we didn't have to worry much about safety as there wasn't any safety hazards around. Both of us could stroll along as our little 'J's ran around.
As we decided to head back, there was this puddle of water which we saw many people stepping onto it. We decided to let the kids have some water fun. Spontaneously, we took off their sandals and we took turns in holding Jovan while Jovin walked and played with the water by herself. Both the kids were thrilled and Jovan walked so fast and we almost couldn't catch up with his pace in the water! Guess what? In the end, Jovan's jeans got totally drenched and we had to remove his jeans and he went home in his diapers instead, haha!
It was a fun Saturday nite spent and we will definitely bring the kids back to Marina Barrage in near future perhaps for kite-flying and not forgetting the water activity. A costless and enjoyable family outing :)
