Every year without fail, we dine on the actual Mother's Day weekend with my in-laws. This year happened to coincide with elections weekend and to avoid the crowd, we decided to postpone a week later. Hmmmm, it was a wise choice indeed.
We made an early reservation at Great World City's Imperial Treasures Cantonese cuisine. Dear and I arrived earlier and we were in for a pleasant surprise when we realised it was an exclusive VIP room for us. There was really so much privacy.
What's more, the baby chair provided for Jovan was just like an emperor's leather couch seat haha. He happily sat on the chair and there were even 3 revolving positions. He really enjoyed sitting on it, meddling with the i-phone. Soon after, my in-laws arrived and they too, commented as though we were having some kinds meet the parents formal dinner session haha....
Service was indeed great as there was an in-house attendant throughout our dining to accomodate our needs. We ordered roast pigeon, their speciality soup which was really really delicious.. But of course this comes with the exorbitant pricing too.... Towards end of the dinner, dear gave his brother a surprise as it coincided with Winston's birthday that day. Dear bought him a birthday cake which he never did for the past 32 years haha. I told Winston u must see who's the 'instigator', which is me lah who always loves to create such birthday pangs.
The waitress captured a wonderful family shot of us. It was a great dining experience.
