Year of the Pig has begun! The past 2 days have really been tiring for us, especially yesterday. Jovin was dressed to the nines in her traditional costumes for these 2 days. She was welcomed by all the aunties & uncles. Her friendly nature & adorable chuckes really captured the hearts of many. Her favourite gesture is saying 'GONGXI GOINGXI' to all she met. That really melted the hearts of many.... Though it was really tiring & boring at some places, but I guess it's good to bring the kids for CNY visiting since we meet some of the relatives only during CNY i.e once a year. It's good that we take this opptornity to enhance our family ties.
Day 1, we went to my sis's place & all of us had a fun time playing poker cards together with the kids. Stakes were as small as 20 cents, haha! But it's reallt the joy & happiness of having the whole family together. Day 2, after visiting James's granny, we paid a visit to my parents as a formality. Mum couldn't help laughing at Jovin's cheongsam, hehe. Sis soon came & we started a small casino again. Can see that Daddy & Mummy were very happy & had a great time playing with us the children & grandchildren.Some feel that CNY is just another boring festival. But I think it's really important & essential in strengthening our family ties.
