Attacked by the viral fever....

Jovin really shocked me this morning. Found her body temperature slightly warmer than usual when she woke up. Intially thought may be due to the fact she just woke up. However,things didn't seem right and she seemed to get warmer. I brought her to see Dr Oh and oh my! Her temperature was 40 degs! Really scared the wits out of me. However, Joivn didn't show any signs of illness at all as she continued with her usual signing and dancing, jumping and hopping around...All was normal. However, things got almost out of hand when Dr Oh tried to check on her throat, ears etc. and she made such a big fuss. She was wailing and shouting frantically for mummy. Things worsened when Dr tried to insert the suppository for her. The smart Joivn thought there was gonna be an injection and kept using her hand to push Dr away. Her strength was not to be underestimated..... Finally, the war was over and my dear girl took a nap when she reached home. Thank god, her temp came down. Dr said it was more of a viral fever and fever should subside in 3-4 days. Now, she's feeling ok and still as active as ever. Guess, she's really the unbeatable force... Mummy just wish that Jovin will always be in the best of health :)
