This afternoon, the House of 'Js' welcomed the Peh Family i.e my buddy Vivian and her family. They arrived around 12p.m, while Jovin was having her lunch. However the KPO girl lost interest in her lunch when she saw baby Jiaen and Jiayi meimei. The last time I met Vivian was at Thomson medical on the 1st day of her delivery of Jiaen in Jul. Time really flies. She has returned to work last week and her baby girl is now 3 months old. Well, we wanted to dine out initially. However considering the big entourage of 2 kids per family. We decided to settle for home instead. My dear Vivian was so nice to pay a visit at our place instead knowing James is terrible at road directions ( hehe he lost his way last time we went to Vivian's place in Lakeside) Vivian's elder princess, Jiayi is exactly 1 year younger than Jovin. She's born on 29th Oct 2006 whereas Jovin is born on 30th Oct 2005. Coincidentally, our prince Jovan is the same age as their 2nd princess Jiaen. Perhaps due to all these conincidences, the friendship bond between Vivian and myself is very strong. We always have so much to talk about, be it work , husband or children.
Jiayi was intially shy and she cried several times cuddling close to Vivian. Soon after, she seemed to warm up in the playroom and we played Barney show for these 2 ardent Barney fans. Both happily enjoyed the cup-cake which Vivian's hubby was feeding. Vivian was amazed at the amount of milk and the pace at which Jovan finished his milk feed. Hehe, at 7.5 mths now, he's taking 200ml and this is done in one feed, and he gave such a loud burp after the feed.In comparison, Vivian seemed to have such a hard time feeding her Jiaen the 90ml and she still needed to change different positions to accomodate the baby. Haha, though same age and 5 months apart, the difference between the 2 babies are so great! Jovan seems to be so big-sized as compared to the tiny weeny baby girl.
The 2 familes had a great time. Before they left, Jovin and Jiayi had a wonderful time and started to pose for photos and enjoyed happily on our bed. They hugged, cuddled and kissed each other at least thrice! Haha very heart-warming scene. Jovin even helped Jiayi to put on her shoes and both of them seemed so inseparable. Jiaen was sleeping happily in Vivian's arms whereas Jovan was still widely awake. We sent them till the lift as Jovin even wanted to leave with them hehe. It was a great afternoon visit and looking forward to more chit-chat sessions with my great pal Vivian especially when I pop by her office :)
