Ever since the kids have gotten their library membership card, we target to bring the kids to the library on a weekly basis. Jovin really loves to read and we usually borrow at least 6 books for them. Jovin has improved tremendously in sentence and word recognition and pronounciation through school lessons and my continued daily effort in reading to her. As for Jovan, really hard to settle him down. He usually runs off before I can read 2 pages from the Leap Pad story board.
This was a rare sight that Jovan was able to sit down with Jovin side by side quietly browsing and rummaging through the pages. He was rattling and mumbling baby language which we couldn't understand as he was looking at the pictures. Really hilarious sight. We hope to cultivate and instill reading habits into Jovan too. Hopefully jiejie can influence him :)
