It has been almost a year since all of us last gathered at Bernard and Wenshan's wedding. Thus, we looked forward very much to our annual X'mas gathering last Saturday. This year, we decided to have it at the newly wed's place. We arranged to meet at noon, but as usual most of us were late again hehe. This is so typical of us.
We reached their place around 1p.m and we were surprised when Krist received us! He was the earliest among us. Krist surprised all of us when he introduced his wife, Diana, to us. They recently ROMed and are planning for customary wedding soon. This was indeed a pleasant surprise but we were glad to have one more addition to our gathering in future :)

Jovin was as sweet as ever to Krist and hugged him upon Krist's request. Jovan, was on the other hand, did not bother about Krist, but Diana managed to cuddle Jovan instead. Hmmm, opposite sex attracts. Of course, the Santa Claus Uncle Krist bought our little 'J's wonderful X'mas presents as usual. Jovin got her long-awaited dream present Barbie Fashion Fairy Tale. As for Jovan, hehe, I told Krist he was only interested in I-phone games, so clothes would be more practical. Rapaunzel movie quoted 'Mothers know best' right? Hehe. So, Jovan got an Osh Kosh shirt. Both were excited in gift unwrapping but Jovan took a fancy to Jovin's glittering and shiny Barbie doll, compared to his. Oh my, looks like there's a need to change next year's choice of gift.

We had our pot-luck lunch with egg tarts, chicken pie, chinese cooked food, old chang kee. Simple but filling. It was a great catch-up session for all as we talked about impending plans in career, house etc.
We managed to take quite a couple of shots and the House of 'J's stayed the longest till around 6p.m with the hosts. Bernard and Jovin challenged each other on I-phone games and our dear Uncle Bernard lost!!! Haha he was so embarassed to be defeated by a mere 5 year old lass!
We had great fun and laughter at the gathering. Next meeting-up should be Chinese New Year as usual.

After that, we popped by nearby Ang Mo Kio Hub where there was a mini games gallery for the kids. Some kind soul passed me 2 free coupon entries to the games gallery where the kids had fun at the bouncing castle, slide, bowling, art and craft and finally had fun watching the X'mas musical show.
It was a real long and tiring day but we wer glad the kids and of course dear and I enjoyed the fun too. That's what X'mas is all about :)
