Had a really great nite out with my girlfriends tonite. The friendship among me, Kim & Vivian could be traced back 5 years ago. We got accquainted through one of our courses at work & our bond had remained strong since then. Come to think of it, we were all swinging singles when we got to know one another. In a span of 5 years, we are now all married young mothers! Our weddings almost took place around the same period & our next generation are at most 1 year apart! Is this fate or sheer coincidence? We really have no answers. Kim & myself have all undergone the torturous labour process. Next in pipeline is our Vivi who's due on 4 Nov! So excited to hear of her labour process, how her hubby would scream etc. haha! The 3 of us always have endless to say. We used to meet till late at nite when we were still single. Still remember how we poured our woes to one another at work, BGR problems etc. Now, our gathering has evolved in strength. Now with my Jovin & Kim's Kaizhe, little Vivi will soon join in the tiny tots' group. Well, actually pregnant women would usually look most bloated during the last 2 weeks before EDD. But the 3 of us actually vowed to look at one another's severity of bloatedness during this advanced stage. See, that's how close we are, so we don't mind allowing one another to view the uglier side of ours. It started off with me, when they visited me just 2 weeks before Jovin was born, followed by Kim & now Vivian!
It was such a rare ocassion that our 3 hubbies could join us as well. Kim's hubby was busy feeding milk & he really seemed like an expertise in taking care of babies. James was busy sharing his role during delivery process to Vivi's hubby. Warned him of the likelihood of the 'scratches' & 'bruises' during the process & the sleepless nites that's gonna soon form part of their lives.
Well, I'm really glad to have these 2 great pals. From past gossiping to now sharing about taking care of kids etc, we really have endless to share. Now, I'm earnestly looking forward to the birth of Little Vivi who may arrive on the same day as Jovin or Vivian's birthday! Who knows?
For Vivian - Pal, don't worry. Remember what I said? Since Kim & I have gone through it, yours will be a smooth & short one + NO EPIDURAL like me hehe. Your procedure will take after me since we already have so many similarities. Looking forward to your great tidings!
