We didn't meet for long but had a good chat over our Bangkok trip and the sharing of info on kids temaparament, how to keep them occupied etc. We shared with them both our little 'J's could actually sit still by themselves for at least 20-30 mins when we played 'Your Baby Can Read' DVD series. At least, it worked for both my little 'J's who loved their favourite 'Head and Shoulders' and 'Old Macdonalds had a farm' songs. So, we proposed to them may consider getting that series for Kaden as my kids did benefit and learnt the words from the DVDs.Hopefully, this can be a method to 'curb' Kaden :)
Soon after our couple pals left as little Kaden needs to sleep, Jovin spotted the colourfull and glittering X'mas lighting decor. We took some shots and as soon as we 'released' Jovan from the pram, he completely let loose of himself and ran around the X'mas tree decor with Jovin. Jovin still remarked to us ' Daddy, Mummy, our X'mas tree is not up yet right? Can set up?' Haha, Daddy almost fell off the chair. Hmmm, dear, pls work on the tasking hehe...
We got some groceries from NTUC and I went ahead to get a blender as I told James I would like to explore cooking pumpkin soup since we love it so much and I've gotten the secret recipe from my colleague who cooks nice pumpkin soup. Moreover, there's grinder and we can use it as fruit-extractor as well,James looks forward to the fresh fruit juices and soups coming soon...
On our way back, the kids had a great time looking at all the various X'mas decor set-up and trees. Looks like this year is going to be challenging to set up our X'mas tree with Jovan 'messing ' around and Jovin taking the lead. Hmmm, but feel that the X'mas mood is already settling in. Almost a month to go before all the feasting to go. Will make use of my long leave in Dec to start decorating the house. I'm sure little 'J's would love to join in the fun :)
